It was equipped with a Ratier automatic variable pitch propeller powered by an in-line 4-cylinder 140 horsepower 6.5 litre Renault Bengali engine. Caudron-Renaults are unbeatable aircraft from the 1930s. These models marked the beginning of a line of sporty, record-breaking fighter aircraft.
