The Renault Supercinq GT Turbo is the sports model of the Supercinq, marketed from March 1985 to meet the competition of the time in this segment: the Golf GTI and the Peugeot 205 GTi. This model replaces the Renault 5 Alpine turbo, in the manufacturer's sports tradition. The R5 GT Turbo is powered by the legendary "Cléon-Fonte engine" grafted with a Garrett turbo.
