1972 Vintage Mug
Something of a revolution followed in 1972 when Renault hired the famous painter and plastic artist Victor Vasarely to simplify its logo. Assisted by his son Yvaral, the creator of Op Art dropped the Renault name from the logo and conceived a diamond flanked by parallel striations. This new logo appeared for the first time on the Renault 5!
