In 1971, Renault introduced Renault 15 & 17 at the same time, two twin cars derived from the Renault 12 saloon.
Renault 17 Coupé stands out with its four round-headlight front grille, its rear quarter window profile and its wide opening when the windows are wound down. For the 1975 year of manufacture, Renault stopped producing Renault 12 Gordini, which brought about the name change from Renault 17 TS to Renault 17 Gordini.
The tailgate monogram at the back of the vehicle became “RENAULT 17 Gordini” but it remained unchanged on the dashboard with “RENAULT 17 TS”.
The two-tone wheel rims are models made of Dunlop Sport lightweight alloy.
